Hi! We are the participants. We were given the opportunity to express ourself managing the social media including the site. We would love to share our experience of the first week of the Bright Future camp:
Arriving at this remote location was hard and bit of scary, despite the difficulty when arriving here. I already felt like in a family. Everybody helped me and everyone manages to make this experience as comfortable as possible. Even the hardest work can be relaxing experience thanks to the coordination ability and volunteers hard work motivation.

Even though we are more than 30 participants I was able in just one week to make real connections thanks to their unique personalities. I almost remembered all their names.

We have been divided into ‘families’, it means that each person has a task that needs to be done during the day with his own group, to ensure that basic needs and commodities are satisfied. So every day each of us has two main tasks: helping his own family group, and taking part in a project. In fact, each morning starts with a meeting to decide which group leader to join and its corresponding task. My personal favourite part in the morning is breakfast. But the feeling to wake up, put my headphones, watch everybody getting ready fills me up with determination.

During the first days, we have created a space for our own tent, cleared many passages and paths that were unusable around the school. During these days we slowly cleaned ALL without a joke path ways around the school and the village. Now the grandmas don’t have to parkour.
At the end of day 7 I feel accomplished. After all the tasks and work I have the confirmation that being here is worthed. Helping the villagers and seeing my work being appreciated and important for them.
We have many things planned, STAY TUNED!!
