Today we want to present you multiple volunteering opportunities from Care2Travel, who are located in Romania.
Option 1: Summer Camps
What: Long-Term Volunteering
Dates: 26.05.2025 – 22.09.2025
Country, Venue: Romania, Miercurea Ciuc
Each year Care2travel organizes multiple Summer Camps in different locations in Romania, Miercurea Ciuc. The task of the volunteers is to help plan and run the activities, that are tailored to the needs of the local children. Activities include playing games, english learning activities, arts and crafts, music, theatre, and sports. Volunteers also assist the workers with preparations, evaluations, data collection, feedback, and activity reports. Since one of the goals of the Camps is, that the children practice their English, the activities will be conducted in English.
Paricipants Profile:
- between 18 and 30 years old
- good English skills
- motivated to work with childeren
- shows interest in the topic of environmental protection

Option 2: Volunteering at Care2Travel
What: Long-Term Volunteering
Date: 26.09.2025
Country, Venue: Romania, Miercurea Ciuc
There are three projects that you can choose from.
Project 1: Activities for children in foster care homes 4.0
You will work with children aged 7 to 18 that are living in foster homes. You will support them with English, homework, life skills, and social development. Additionally you will organize creative learning activities, playing games, and organize fun outdoor adventures like picnics and sports.
Project 2: Teaching and care in afterschool clubs 4.0
Volunteers support children weekly by helping them with their homework, teaching English through games and building essential life and social skills.
Project 3: Community inclusion 3.0
To bring the community together, the volunteers will organize events like language clubs, quit nights, and board game nights. You can help locals practice their foreign languages in language clubs, as well.

- good English skills
- motivated to work with childeren
- shows some interest in the topic of digitalisation

Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the training available.
