I’m Léo from France, I’m 21. I like making and listening to music, being in the nature, learning languages and practical work.
I decided to become a long-term volunteer with Smokinya Foundation because I like their principles, vision and way of working and teaching. How do I know this? I’ve already participated in two short ESC projects with them in Mrachenik. One as a participant and one as a team member.
When they told me about a long-term project in Mrachenik, I didn’t hesitate to accept, because I have loved this place and this NGO since the first time I came here.
This being, staying here for 6+ months is an amazing opportunity for me to get to know the village life, Bulgarian language, culture and traditions more deeply.
I’m ready to give my best to this great project, to face the challenges and to become a better version of myself!
