“Volunteering Summer Fest” brings together 16 young people from 18 to 30 years old for 1 month of volunteering in the rural context of Alta Langa, Piedmont, Italy.
MAIN AREAS OF VOLUNTEERING:
-Cooking
-Gardening
-Restoration work
-Group cleaning
-Weeding areas of the village
-Wood Handcraft
PARTICIPANT PROFILE:
-Your age is from 18 to 30
-You are legally resident EU countries
-You are facing challenging situations in your life
-Interested in getting to know and cooperate with other young
volunteers from different countries
-You want to live for 1 month in a rural environment in Italy, discover
the local area and get to know its inhabitants
-You want to improve your practical and manual skills, your group
work competencies and your sense of initiative
IMPORTANT
Obligatory pre-departure meeting: date, time, place – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

COST AND FEES
This project is funded by Erasmus+ programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
Smokinya Foundation operates thanks to hundreds of volunteering hours per month and donations.
We ask a contribution of 20 EUR /40 leva/ from all confirmed applicants.
Your donation covers some of our administrative and organisational expenses and supports Smokinya Foundation’s dream to establish youth-run international volunteering and training centre. In case the suggested donation amount is excessive for you, fill in the application form and contact us.
