In 2014, a group of worldly-minded friends joined forces to establish INPRO in the charming city of Rzeszów, the heart of the Podkarpackie region in Poland. Driven by a shared passion for collaboration and a commitment to making a global impact, INPRO aims to showcase the added value and progress international initiatives bring to community development. Annually, 500 young people benefit from our programs, including Erasmus+ youth exchanges, training courses, vocational traineeship projects, and short and long-term volunteering within the European Solidarity Corps.
Rzeszów: The Capital of Innovation
Known as the capital of innovation in Poland, Rzeszów is celebrated for its Aviation Valley, tech hubs, and research centers driving aerospace, IT, and engineering breakthroughs.
Volunteer Opportunities at INPRO
As a volunteer at INPRO, you play a crucial role in various aspects, such as helping with workshops, organizing events, promoting activities, and maintaining the office and hostel space. This is an opportunity to experience Polish life up close, engage with local youth, and make lasting connections.
What Volunteers Do at INPRO
➔Monday Stories:
Every Monday, volunteers host captivating presentations delivered by foreign residents living in Rzeszów or the Podkarpackie area. It’s an initiative that fosters cultural exchange and promotes understanding.
➔Open Café:
A weekly event that encourages cultural exchange and social dialogue, Open Café is led by INPRO volunteers. It provides a safe space for networking, exploring diverse cultures, and having fun.
➔School Visits:
INPRO volunteers enthusiastically conduct workshops and presentations for middle and high school students, engaging them in language learning and cultural exchange.
➔Managing Social Media:
Volunteers take charge of INPRO’s social media platforms, creating engaging content to enhance the organization’s online presence.
➔Supporting Incoming Groups:
Volunteers support hosted projects by facilitating programs, organizing activities, and managing logistics. They ensure a seamless experience for participants.

Work Schedule and Accommodation
Volunteers typically work from 10:00 to 16:00, five days a week, totaling 30 hours. Accommodation includes shared living spaces with five other volunteers. A monthly allowance of 1500 PLN (approximately €345) for pocket money and food expenses is provided, along with reimbursement of travel expenses within ESC limits.
Living in Rzeszów: A Snapshot of Weather and Currency
Rzeszów experiences a continental climate with four distinct seasons. From mild springs to snowy winters, the city offers a diverse climate for everyone. The local currency is PLN (Polish Zloty), and newcomers can find exchange offices, known as “Kantor,” nearby.
This is a learning program. It requires full focus and participation.
Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination.

Participation is obligatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by ESC programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

This project is funded by ESC programme: accommodation, food, materials, the programme and the travel costs up to the maximum allowed amount are fully covered. No fees.
