“SUSTAINABLE ME” – TRAINING COURSE
Duration: 9 days.
Date: 8-17 September.
Place: Hustopece u Brna (Czech Republic).
Participating countries: Greece, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, Spain, Czech Republic.

Summary
How does it sound to spend nine days working and learning new tools, methods and strategies to fight against the climate change through a zero waste perspective and a sustainable lifestyle? If it looks interesting for you and besides that you are a nature lover, this opportunity is for you.
Fill in the registration form and participate in “Sustainable Me“, an intensive Training Course in Hustopece u Brna (Czech Republic) totally disconnected from the rest of the world. We are looking for 4 participants:
- 22+ years old (there is no age limit).
- With Bulgarian citizenship or legally residing in Bulgaria.
- Youth workers (young activist, peer educator, volunteer, mentor, coach, trainer) NGO staff (NGO manager or colleage leader, office staff) or representative of formal education.
- With previous experience or with interest in climate change issues and sustainability.
- Desiring to improve their personal and professional competencies.
- Willing to spend 10 days offline taking 10 hours per day of the programme.
- Capable of living, cooperating, working and experimenting in a big multicultural group in a rural environment.
- Motivated to work in a team and prepare a one day programme for the youth from local High Schools.
The Training Course gives the chance to:
- Practice sustainability and zero waste on personal level.
- Addresse climate change with concrete actions in Youth Work.
- Share personal experiences with the youth.
- Acquire a new perspective on the permaculture approach.
- Identify your resources back to home to start a sustainable life.
- Develop your personal, interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Learn new tools, techniques, and methods based on the topics of the project thanks to training plans like experiential learning, simulated situations, coaching and open sharing, outdoor activities, theoretical inputs and peer education.
Accommodation
- The accommodation for the Training Course will be located in a Youth Ecocenter called Pavucina Hustopece, in Hustopece u Brna.
- Living is provided in tents with capacity for 4 people. However, participants will stay in trios to have space enough and make the experience more enjoyable.
- There will have 3 meals per day prepared by the kitcken staff, besides coffe and snacks available during the rest of the day. All these accomodation costs are fully are covered by the project.
- The whole project experience will be carried out offline, so organisers will ask to leave all mobile phones aside from the first day until the end of the experience. There will be a community phone available for urgent calls.
Travel costs reimbursement
- According to the rules of Erasmus+ Program, Narana Hustopece will reimburse the travel costs of the participants.
- The reimbursement of the travel costs requires to present the pertinent orginal tickets, receipts, invoices and boarding passes.
- Every reimbursement will be done in Euros regardless the currency indicated in the the documents provided.
- Travel costs reimbursment cover until 275 euros for participants from Bulgaria.
- There is a participation fee of 40 euros to the overall cost of the project that will be collected from the travel costs reimbursement of participants.
- Do not buy any transportation ticket without having received a confirmation letter/authorization in this regard.

Obligatory pre-departure meeting: – to be announced and sent upon confirmation.
Come in person to learn about Smokinya, Erasmus+, this project, reimbursement and ask your questions.
Participation is mandatory, an option is to join via Skype / Hangouts apps.

This is learning program funded by Erasmus+ programme.
That requires commitment. You will be asked to organise a follow-up activity after the program.
The program is intensive and challenging.
The program does NOT include cultural and touristic sightseeing.

Apply only when you know you want to participate and you have the dates of the training available.
Travel reimbursement is only sent to those who fully participate in all phases, including the follow-up and dissemination.
